Carey has been a Realtor® since 1995. She has been the Principal Broker of Royal Properties Realty since 2002. Carey is very involved with the Middle Tennessee Association of Realtors®. She is currently the Chairman of the Education Committee and teaches several classes at the Board of Realtors®, including Marketing and Top Producers, and Professional Standards and Courtesy classes. She also sits on the Public Relations Committee, where she is heading up the Bill Carey Golf Scramble, Arbor Day (providing each child in the 4th grade a tree to take home and plant), the Scholarship committee (which gave 5 shcolarships t highschool students for college in 2008)  and the Realtor® Make a Difference Day. Carey believes very strongly in the promotion of education for Realtors so they can stay abreast of current market trends and legal issues. 

Carey will sit on the Middle Tennessee Association of Realtors Board of Directors in 2009.

Carey recently participated in the Middle Tennessee Association of Realtors® Day on the Hill, where she visited with several Tennessee State Representatives on Capitol Hill in Nashville to discuss issues important to those in the Real Estate industry. In 2006, Carey participated in Middle Tennessee Association of Realtors' elite program, Leadership MTAR. She was selected as one of twelve from a pool of near two thousand Realtors® to participate in the leadership program. Carey now teaches the program.     

Carey is a smart businesswoman and a tough negotiator. She is well-respected among her peers. She has a long list of satisfied past clients who eagerly continue to send her referals.  Carey's real passion within the real estate industry is in helping BUYERS search for homes. She loves the emotion the fills the air when a first time homebuyer receives the keys to their new home. Buyer Representation is very important in Tennessee. A little known fact is that buyer representation is actually cost-free to buyers. Sellers negotiate a fee for Buyer's Reps with their Listing Agents when the home is placed on the market.

Carey is very involved in her local community. Each year in Sepetmber, middle school cross country teams across the state gather in Carey's back yard for a 2 mile cross country run known as the Milton Invitational, coordinated by Central Middle School. Rain or shine, this is an event the students look forward to each year. Carey also sits on the LESAA (Lascassas Elementary School Athletic Association) Board of Directors.

Carey is also a loving wife and the mother to three beautiful children.  Carey is a Christian and holds herself to a higher standard of living. She believes in treating others with great respect and without judgement.  Royal Properties Realty is founded on the principles of Honesty, Loyalty and Integrity. As Principal Broker, Carey's goal is to recruit Realtors® with the same value system.
